Walk and don't walk

This was a welcome sight as I entered Sandpoint, Idaho on my 1997 bicycle tour around the Pacific Northwest.

Near my house, in Bellingham, someone drove off the street and took out the stoplight.  Pieces of the "don't walk" sign were on the sidewalk.  Don't walk takes on new meaning. "If you don't like how I drive, stay off the sidewalk."
