Below picture from Cape Sante in Anacortes. The cape is a city park. View looks east over islands and waterways to the mainland. Look a slightly different direction, from the cape, and see large oil refineries across the water. Anacortes is on Fidalgo Island. Fidalgo is to the north of Whidbey. It is connected to Whidbey by the Deception Pass Bridge and to the mainland by the Highway 20 bridge.
