To my 1991 bicycle trip

From the mail:

I am a graduate student in Biology at Central WA University in Ellensburg  WA.

My research involves me slowly driving roads at night in search of snakes.  I gather life history data on various species and take GPS readings to generate distribution maps.

My questions is: What road (in what county) was the picture titled "slowly peddling along a road near the Snake River" taken?  There has been very little work research done on snakes in SE WA and I am planning a trip there soon.  In short, that looks like an excellent area to look for snakes in!!!!

With kind regards,
