Reyes area, I took Sir Francis Drake Blvd. to top of hill and into
the more densely populated north bay suburbs. A bike map was
valuable. Worked my way south along some roads that had "bike route" signs along them. Mill Creek has a nice bike path. Too bad it only goes a few miles. In Corte Madera, two people were out walking and introduced themselves to me. Slowing down to climb the hill makes it easy for people to say "hello." 2006 Trip Next |
 In the conversation, I ask
where a reasonable motel might be. They pointed toward some
freeway exits and then said, "If you have a tent, why don't you camp in
our yard?" They turned out to be cyclists also.
