it all the way from San Francisco to Santa Cruz in one
day. That includes stopping and chatting with some folks along
the way. Two very attractive hikers near the top of Skyline and,
of course,
running into Jim Sullivan. Took La Honda Road from Woodside to Highway 1, then, with the wind at my back, cruised into Santa Cruz. Checked into a motel in the north end of that city. Got in slightly after dark. Used my light and back blinker. 2006 Trip Next |

near the Santa Cruz Kinko's.
I didn't park overnight, but did check my email there. Locked up my bike and brought my camera, with it's irreplaceable load of trip images, into the store with me. My bike was fine. It helps to have some dirty socks on the outside.  |
