2005 bicycle tour was around here in the Pacific Northwest. Top of 2005 trip Next While many folks travel overseas, to places like Nepal for enlightenment, I chose the peaceful paths in my own back yard here in USA. Snohomish County Centennial Trail wanders through the woods south of Arlington, WA. Delivers one to Snohomish, WA. and another world of tranquility. Not that far from Snohomish one can pick up more trails into Seattle area. There are Americans who know where to find peace in Nepal, but haven't figured out how to get across their own county with out getting on the freeway. My other page about this trail. |
 New part of Snohomish Trail a few
miles south of Arlington. I am hoping they finish the trail into
Arlington as that short stretch of road south of town, before the
trailed, has no shoulder.
