Taking back roads west of Highway 99 through places like Veneta and Drain, I eventually end up in Roseburg area of SW Oregon.

Pass some impressive lumber mills. Watched a circular saw cut through 3 foot diameter logs like they were butter. Looked effortless, except the fancy catcher that comes up to swallow the dust. It was all too far from where I was standing to get a good picture.

Grit on road leads to flat tire, but I get the "green slime" to prevent further flats. No more flats the rest of trip.
