One of many radio stations I got was KFRC, San Francisco. When I was a kid, growing up in Pullman, WA., KFRC came in on the nighttime skip with a faint signal. It was Rock and roll. I used to think that station was "cutting edge." Tunes like "Roll Over Beethoven" were sac religious. In 2003, KFRC has the same music, but it's the "Oldies Station." Music for granny's generation. Of course I can't tell much difference between that and what is "in" today. |
