tire this entire trip. It was while biking around on Santa Cruz
city
streets. Lucky that city has many bike shops, including one
called
"Another Bike Shop."
I have a pump and spare tube, but wanted to
see if it
was time for a brand new tire. They said the old one had a few
more
miles, but might be a good idea to get new one. After Monterey
comes
Big Sur Then they discovered my break pads had almost worn their way through the metal of my back rim. |
 Having used this bike for more than one touring season, it was time for a new back wheel. Except for that, my bike held up great. It's a mountain bike made by Giant. Price paid for bike, around $400. |
