Most roads, in the South Bay, seem bicycle friendly.  A grid iron pattern makes it easier, than the North Bay, to find one's way around.  With some time for riding around Moutainview, we passed headquarters for many things of web fame.  Google, for instance.

I wanted to see the AM radio tower for KGO in San Francisco.  It's located in a marsh beside the Dumbarton Bridge.  We got close, but ran out of time.

Later, that night, Rick's friend took us there by car.

Next day was the ride to Santa Cruz.

Planning to go on Highway 9, we got unintentionally onto Highway 17.  Not wanting to go onto that death trap, we started to back down the ramp.  This pickup stopped and offered us a ride up the pass.  He let us off at a great back road down into Scotts Valley and Santa Cruz.  Seeing us on the 17 ramp had him worried.
