 At Lyon's Ferry State Park, a giant railroad trestle crosses the Snake River; called the Joso Trestle. I took a few pictures and then headed up a long hill that goes under the north end of this structure. Soon I heard a rumbling like the sound of a train coming. With camera ready, I waited, but no train was to be seen. Then I realized a giant barge was passing through way down on the river. It was too far for a good picture as it passed under the trestle. |
