| This bicycle trip started in Albany,
Oregon. I took the train, with my bike in the baggage car, to Albany
from my home in Bellingham, Washington. Visited a friend who lives
in Corvallis. Two mornings later, I was peddling up the western slopes
of the Cascade Mountains.
Just a few feet off the main highway is this covered bridge. It crosswa the Santiam River. Western Oregon offers many covered bridges. Scroll down to see inside bridge.
